Select Painting recently completed a flooring restoration project in the guest locker rooms at The Birdcage stadium for the Sioux Falls Canaries, focused on durability, performance, and long-term protection. The project began with the removal of the existing flooring system, which was the most labor-intensive phase due to the heavy manual work required to properly strip the old surface and prepare it for a new application. Once the original flooring was removed, the team installed a formed cove base along with a high-performance flake flooring system using polyurea and polyaspartic materials. This advanced coating system provides a seamless, durable finish designed to withstand heavy foot traffic, moisture, and the daily demands of an athletic facility while delivering a clean, professional appearance for players and staff.
